It's been a little while since I listed. I just listed a bowl and it says pick catagory, pick second catagory REQUIRED.

It is supposed to be optional right? How do you NOT list in two catagories???

I don't want to pay double for all my listings and am feeling really dumb right now because I cant find how not to do this.

it IS optional. You just disregard that section entirely.

If you're talking about the Sell Your Item form on eBay: if you don't want anything in a second category, leave that section under the purple bar blank. Just select your category in once, in the pull-across form at the top of the page.
