OK Like I'm at home today because my car broke down (knew it was coming) Got a temp fix but needs more work calling for dealer parts...arrrrrgh.
Anyway, so I list a few things today hoping to get good prices and put up an art glass vase starting at 45 with buy it now at 70. That was about three hours ago and it is sold.

Good for you! I also LOVE the BIN feature... but am wondering how much it will cost us after this "holiday promotion" is over.

That's the real BONUS of BIN. Most buyers contact you right away to let you know that they have purchased the item. And most will pay electronically, in my exoerience. You might even get paid today and have the item shipped out Monday am.

With BIN most of my stuff is mailed out the day after I list it. No NPB's so far and amazing ROI's. The bidders seem to be afraid that someone else may come in and buy it out from under them so are willing to pay great prices again.
This is the best thing ebay has done for us in years and if they start charging for it, it will hurt them more than us. Their take on FVF's has to be up because of BIN but if they charge a fee to list, I for one will not be using that feature and their rvenues will go down.
Remember the old "its just a buck" reserve fee fiasco--I am certain that their revenues went down when they did that--they just have a real problem admitting that they made a big mistake.

Lovin' it too! Had a slow week & today sold around $200 worth of stuff...Worked wonderfully thru the holidays & still going strong with BIN. If you know your merchandise & know what it should be worth you can really kick butt with BIN!

Got good prices and FAST action on two auctions this weekend [a decent percentage of my total since I have few things listed just now]. Both are paid for and ready to ship tomorrow.
I also got a few immediate bids on other items, which I like to think is the buyer's approach to blocking someone ELSE paying the BIN price. Either way works for me!

Tried BIN for the first time today- 3 sales within the hour. Gotta like that.

When they start charging, my guess is that the BIN will be around 10cts.

It is interesting to see how happy some sellers are with BIN.
As a seller I never use BIN.
As a buyer I love BIN.
Let me give you just one example. An antique dealer put up a Haviland Limoges biscuit jar in the Limoges category with a BIN. The BIN was $150, close to price guide value as a Haviland 19th century biscuit jar. However I scrolled down to see the photo of the marks and the numbers were with the mark to show that the biscuit jar was a real rare salesman's sample. The auction had just been placed in the category so I snapped it up. I have several buyers whom I can sell that biscuit jar to for at least $300. I guess the seller is happy that the jar sold so quickly but it leaves me perplexed as to why the seller didn't list it for ten days and let the collectors fight over it, get the money for themselves.
