For several months I've been happily using Simply Postage software and meter machine. At the time I started with them, they were the only on-line postage folks that directly supported bookrate mail.
Imagine my surprise today after I downloaded their software for the new postal rates and no option for the new media mail was visible. I called their customer support and was told that they were no longer supporting that class of mail with their system.
So, do other on-line postage systems no support media mail? What options are available for me to choose from now? What do you other booksellers use?

Have you emailed their Tech support people (not their regular customer support folks)? There was one guy in tech support who wrote the book rate patch, and maybe he just hasn't gotten around to redoing it for Media Mail rates. I use the simply postage meter, but I find it faster to input the amount of postage myself. I use book rate/media mail so much, that I had the old rates memorized up to 9 pounds, and I bet I'll soon have the new rates memorized too.

Birdwatcher,
Thanks for the suggestion to call tech support. I'll do that tomorrow.
I did just input postage amounts today, and indeed I often did that on a regular basis. The problem with doing that now is that on the label where "bookrate mail" used to appear, now "first-class domestic" shows up. You'll probably find, as I did today, that after you select a class of mail, the software will no longer allow you to manually enter a postage amount. You can only enter a postage amount now (or at least this was my experience this afternoon) if you do so BEFORE selecting a class of mail in the drop-down menu. And if you prepare your labels this way, the "first-class domestic" is on the meter labels even with no class of mail selected.
