Am I missing something big time, or did this just happen? I just noticed tonight that eBay pages now say 'AOL presents eBay' at the top.

That was weird. The AOL stuff is now gone again. For a few minutes, all the eBay pages had a header that said 'AOL presents eBay', with the AOL blue line going across the top.

Maybe they were testing some new pages for some eBay/AOL partnership soon to come?

I know I saw it, I'm not that loco--not yet, anyway!

ebaY has had a "partnership" with AOL for at least a year now, probably longer.

There is even a URL, something like www.aol.ebay.com, that is sometimes used as a back door to get in.

Sometimes when ebaY's regular servers are busy, you will be re-routed through the AOL site.

Since their feasco about a year ago. I use nothing but the AOL back door. Its bookmarked and shortcutted on my start-up page.
I haven't used regular eBay since.....so it has always been there for me.

Try these:

http://www.ebay.aol.com/
http://www.ebay.netscape.com/
http://www.ebay.digitalcity.com/
http://www.ebay.icq.com/
http://www.ebay.compuserve.com/
http://www.ebay.com/aolcom/

The above are cobranded sites with AOL properties.

Below are cobranded with Disney properties.

http://www.ebay.go.com/
http://www.ebay.disney.com/

So I guess this means that you're not going crazy =)

Thanks for the explanations. I haven't been able to answer as promptly as I wanted, because I've been sooooooo busy! Even busier than before Christmas.
