I am really new at all of this so I may just be parinoid. However I started a thread earlier today (Is this For Real) and even though this pertains to that thread i was afraid I would get no response.
The auction is a questionable one..very high priced widgets with a very low reserve, no return/refund policy..several of same item..no feed back, cashier's check or money order only. It is a 3 day auction and I have been following it close. I just checked again and not only are serveral of the same bidders bidding on all the auctions, they too have 0 feedback. One in particular has placed a bid on each one of the auctions (remember, this is several individual auctions of the same item, started the same day and end the same time, by the same seller) 30 seconds apart and changed id 2 days before the auction. folks we are talking about bids over the $600 mark, for each individul auction.
My question, should this be brought to Ebays attention and if so where and how?
I typed this in a hurry so forgive the typo's..auctions are ending on the 9th.

I checked there and could not find anything that covers this. this is just a suspicion, and if the seller is an honest one I don't want to start any trouble for him/her. seller did answer my email, but not in a way that would give me enough confidence to bid. the whole thing seems so fishy I am afraid someone might get burned..should I just mind my own business?

You can send any issue you think is a problem to safeharbor.

You will have to decide if you want to report your suspicions. Others can't make the decision for you.

Well, I don't know if I did the right thing or not, but I did send a note through Safe Harbor. I did make sure they knew this was just a suspicion, no proof and I did not want to harm the seller if it was legit. I just can't feel comfortable if 8 bidders get taken in by a scam. Hope I did the right thing

If you reported it and it was legit, no harm no foul.

If you reported it and it was a scam, you just saved people alot of $$$.

Congratulations on taking the initiative - and especially on making sure safeharbor knows you just suspect something, not know for sure.

Well the auction is over and I checked on something else..seller has had 17 auctions since the 22nd of Dec, all related items, not a single feedback yet and only 4 buyers with a feedback over 20 I hope it works out for them
