While packing up I noticed a few tiny stains on the garmet I have listed. I have bids so I didn't know how to handle it. Any advice?

I NEVER send an item after discovering defects. I always contact bidder - state the situation. I was packing a fabulous mug with a fancy handle and broke it by mistake! I had to contact bidder and returned their check. I wasn't happy but better than some who might glue it and send it on.....
If stains are not removable, then do the right thing and refund immediately -- or if they are immensely un-noticeable - tell the bidder and offer discount (only on bidder approval) and include cash difference (money order) in the package.
G luck!

I would cancel the auction and relist with a revised description. Contact the bidders with an explanation and apology and provide a link to the new auction.

I have, on a few occasions, done what RainyBear suggests. Believe me, your customers will be most grateful for your honesty, and you may even gain a loyal customer or 2!

I would email all bidders and tell them about the stain, or if just the high bidder offer a refund or a discount on the item.
Let your bidders make the choise of what they would like to do.
The main and most important thing is that you let them know, People like when you are honest, lets face it we can't see everything all the time, I am sure they will understand.
In my case My high bidder sent me the money and when i was packing it I dropped it and the head of the statue came off and the fancy piece that was attached to the head.
I told her what had happened and if she would like a full refund or would she still want the piece and I would return half of her money. She decided to take the piece and half of the money.
When she got it she emailed me asking me if I had the other piece that went on top of the head, I looked all around for it and sure enough I found it, (I had forgotten about that piece) I mailed it to her and she was very happy.
