I picked up a 'Ratefold' from USPS today for domestic prices---and in the rate columns it has things like Single Piece, Presorted, 3-Digit, 5-Digit, Carrier Route and also something called BMC5.

All these different things affect the postage costs--are there ex postal clerks here that could give a quick lesson.

From looking at these rates ----it appears to me that there are some discounts available--but what criteria allows you to receive them??

Zazzie -
You use SINGLE PIECE

The other columns are for people mailing LOTS of packages to the same zip code, already sorted and often in bundles or on pallets by ZIP.
