I was forced to leave a neg for a bidder who failed to pay after more than 30 days. I claimed a FVF from ebay and of course the bidder was sent a letter of warning.
In the NEG, I indicated the following. "AUCTION ENDED 36 DAYS AGO, AFTER MANY EMAILS, STILL NO PAYMENT, FVF CLAIM MADE".
The bidder responded, "seller took 25 days to get me his mailing address. How could i have sent it ?"
This response is false. The auction ended on 12-03-00. I use Auction Watch software and the bidder was sent an automated email which included my address the next day. On 12-14-00, I sent a manual email (address included) to her. She again asked for my mailing address. On 12-15-00, I sent another manual email (address included) to her. And one final time on 12-28-00. She kept responded to my manual email stating that she needed my mailing address. I thought enough of this nonsense.
I filed for a NPB Alert and still no response from her. I waited the 10 days and filed for the credit. She got a love note from ebay. She emailed me and said, "I really think the bad wrap on ebay is unfair but its done now".
I'm not a computer expert, but I don't believe that anybody has such a hard time recieving emails. Her comment make me look like an inept jackass. My question is, How can I make a follow up comment on her response? Can we still do this on ebay.
