Hello Dutchman,
I start to sell on ebay, but like you probably did, I have a payment-problem. Once the item is sold, how do I get the money? The banks charge appr. fl. 25,- for clearing cheques. What is your advice?
I'm from Canada, actually, but I had a similar problem. I used to encourage high bidders to use BidPay, and now PayPal is available internationally.
Many people will tell you they don't like PayPal, but you don't have as many choices as US residents do. About half my payments are through PayPal now, the remaineder in US cash or International money orders.
See if money orders cost as much to deposit as cheques. If they do, go to www.paypal.com.

I buy alot from Holland and most of the sellers I deal with only will take U.S. dollars or if the buyer refuses to send cash than they charge the bank fees to the customer.I mail large sums of cash every month to Holland and never have had a problem you sellers from Holland are some of the most honest people around.I use a small global priority envelope and add a catalog to it to add some weight and it gets there in 3-4 days and only costs $5.00.
