I recently sold an item for much more than I expected. So I contacted the seller and said she could have it for less. (She did not ask and was very grateful.)

Do I still have to file the non-paying bidder alert? If so, do I have to wait 7 days? And then wait an additional 10 days before filing for a FVF? (Actually, I'll file for a 'partial' FVF since we mutually agreed on a lower price.)

Thanks in advance.

To get the difference in fees, you have to file the NPBA, but be sure to select the correct reason that applies to the situation. (It does not go against her record, but she will get a confirmation e-mail). For the amount you received, put what she gave you for it. The final value fee should be refunded right away.
