Are there problems with Paypal? Had transfered money from Paypal to
my checking account from Paypal.
Paypal sent notification they sent
it 12/13/2000. Credit Union shows
nothing deposited in my account.
Wrote Paypal and they said it is
the banks problem. I have a large
amount of money missing now and
Paypal is trying to dismiss me.
With direct deposit, not a whole lot
can go wrong. Have done this before,
no problem. Can't say the check is
lost in the mail. Where is my money
and why does Paypal not want to look
into this? Can you call and talk to a person or just wait and see if you get a response? I save copies of each inquire
and response including this in case it
becomes a legal matter.

Hi,

Many credit unions do not accept ACH transfers and that could be part of the issue. However, that money should be rejected and flow back to the PayPal system. Please send me your account information to [email protected] and I will look at this for you.

Regards,
Damon

I had a similar problem with Paypal a couple of months ago. The money finally made its way to my bank account but only after numerous calls and emails to paypal (they blamed my bank). After Paypal decided to change the rules and break the promise of offering a free service, I refused to go through their 'verification' process. After a series of rude emails trying to coerce me into becoming 'verified', they finally restricted my account and will not allow me to withdraw any money unless I provide them with a great deal of personal information. They did, however, inform me that auction winners can deposit money in my account--they just won't let me access it. Sounds like fraud to me. Fortunately, there is no money in my account so they can go to **ll. All of my auctions now state that I will no longer accept Paypal and contain a link to refer potential bidders to the Wall Street Journal article on Paypal's fraudulent business practices. I think if you read the message board comments on Paypal you will immediately close your account.
