It's already past the middle of the month, but this morning I finally got around to sending follow-up email on auctions that closed in late December for which no payment has arrived. I think there were 4. Already one buyer emailed back to say "OK, sending check now."
My question: I usually end up just giving a positive for this stuff, though it might be "thanks for paying" rather than "fast payment, A+++" or whatever.
Do you think it's appropriate to put something in the FB about delay in paying? Maybe "had to remind him, but he did pay"?
For myself, it's not a huge issue, but I wonder if other sellers to this person will also end up having to send extra email just to get payment.

I have enough problems with people who never pay or send short payments , etc, that I don't leave any bad comments for someone who had to be nudged.
You never know why they delayed. Some of these people probably did have a stay in the hospital or a death in the family and have too much quality to parade it before a stranger as an excuse.

I've had a few of these " Christmas buyers " , who have needed a nudge . Two are still outstanding , one from Hong Kong ,( which has been a long haul.)
If you don't feel they deserve a neg , but want to warn others, there's always a polite neutral , e.g. " Payment received after initial delay in communication." or " Payment received as promised after reminder . No problem." or a " revealing positive" such as " Ended Dec.27th. received payment Jan.23rd. Thanks !"
If you can gather from the feedback left for them if they are usually slow , and you want others to read your experience , choose neutral. Otherwise don't leave any. They don't deserve a positive if they've ignored the stated terms in your description or EOA
