Has anyone here ever blocked someone from bidding on your auctions? With eBay, I believe you have to email the person with a copy to Safe Harbor asking that he or she not bid on your auctions (and I'm sure you'd have to state reasons).
Does anyone know of any auction sites that actually let you block someone's bids without emailing the site - like with a form you fill in online? Thanks in advance.

Yahoo has that feature. It's called a blacklist. You put the names of bidders you don't want to bid on your auctions on your "black list" and they are unable to bid on your auctions.

I have done it just recently! Had a -2 bidder and I cancelled their bid, they sent me a note threatening to sue me so I cc the note to ebay and the bidder and adding for them not to bid on my auction again. Ebay was great about it!

In two years, probably a dozen times - one was a deadbeat who had the gall to bid on the same item when I relisted it!

I've done it once, when the bidder had horrendous feedback. You are right about how it is done at eBay, but your reason can just be that you are not comfortable with the person bidding on your auction. You don't have to go into any specifics, if you don't want to.
