What good are privacy guidelines if these companies can change them whenever they want?
First we hear that Amazon considers all customer data a company asset that it sell to whomever it wants. Then we hear about eBay resetting all notification defaults to send everybody ads and offers even if they don't want them. Now we hear about Paypal continuing to insert logos when a customer no longer wants them.
Once these companies get data on us they can change their rules to do whatever they want. I am now getting very nervous about what else they may do. It's time to stop the fox from guarding the henhouse..
