I was doing a search, and something completely unrelated came up. So, I clicked (was an item I was interested in anyway), and the seller went on and on about how broken this item was, etc. Fairly high-dollar item.
Anyway, at the bottom, seller said something to the effect of the listing being a joke, blahblahblah. I assume this kind of listing is not allowed?

I don't know, but he should hope that a bunch of people don't come along who think it would be an even bigger joke to bid it up to some huge amount.
