Hi kukula! You know, I have this strange theory...Odd as it sounds, I think there are people that don't go on ebay every single day. Hard to imagine, but maybe remotely possible, eh?
I will sometimes have something that I can't seem to sell then the next relisting it gets bids on it right away and the same thing happens that you mentioned.

I haven't had this happen to me, but I've seen it and wondered also. The other day I was doing some completed auction searches. A seller had listed an item twice at $50, no bids. The third time (s)he listed it for $20, and sold the thing for over $200. What logic is there in that?
I don't know if it's the feeding frenzy or not. Perhaps some people aren't sure enough if it's "really" what they think it is, and feel that if no one else bids, then it must not be any good.
It makes me believe in lower listing prices, and the success potential for relisted items.

I think it's psychology, "if nobody else wants it why should I". I've had instances where I put something up for 5.00 with no reserve and nothing. I increase the price and it goes???
