I usually don't like to sound suspicious but this AW has been down an awfully long time.
What's your thoughts?

Longer because it's a hardware not software problem, perhaps??

Tuition44years sounds right on the money with that one.I guess it is tough for those who rely on this as a their sole income.I just hope they have back-up to do their auctions in another manner.I would think most have thought of that if it is their bread and butter.

It would be nice if they would at least post SOMETHING on the Announcement board since that is the only place to get info -
Have any of you been having problems the last few days with the site being extrememly slow and aggravating!

Hello Everyone,
Besides the announcements board, you can check for updates in the Services forums.
The engineers are working double time to get things up and running and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Joice - Can you tell us if the site IS really going to come back up or if it is financial difficulties that is causing this?? Were the problems AW has been having this past week all kind of a pre-curser to this major problem or were they something else entirely??

First I wanted to say I think AW is primo. I do relize at times things go wrong, glitches, hardware, software etc. . . the world of cyber space is still very new believe it or not. Because of that as good as AW is I always have 2 places I post from and a 3rd one in the wings.
So, if AW or the other one I am using is having problems I go to the other one and visa-versa. It makes good business and $$$$$ sense. It also reduces my stress load. Instead of sitting twirling my thumbs and wondering when they are coming back up I just go to my secondary place.
Just as when Ebay is down I will work in my web site or my yahoo auctions etc. . .
AW is great the best on the web as far as I am concerned but all places are bound to have some down time. It is wise to always have a back up.

Haha, hardware failure?
I guess it is time to go down to the store and buy a new computer.
Don't buy from that Alien Company.
I use Excel, Email, and and HTML editor to do what AW does in cases like this. That way, if they are down, I am not.
