Ugh I am so frustrated.
Thank you to everyone who emailed me auction information last night
I think I'm going to just stick with starting my auctions on eBay (even though it means repetitive typing) so when and if AuctionWatch ever works again I will stay with that.
In the meantime now I need a server to host images. My server offers one, but it takes 48 hours for it to be activated. I tried honesty.com and got a few images uploaded but there is something in the html/java something that makes my browser crash every time I reload the page. So it's basically wasting my time using it.
So if anyone can post where I can host FREE images (not the 3 listed on eBay, they are not free) until AuctionWatch works again I'd appreciate it.

I keep my photos on goto.com, which I use to launch my auctions. They have a very nice interface and are very reliable. I don't use their post-sales services so I don't know about that.

I have tried several and the best I have found is Auctionworks.com. They have paid services as well, but you can use the image hosting for free. You can name your own images & you don't have to generate a html code to use them, plus they don't delete your images after a certain amount of time or require you to have a credit for their services. Very reliable, too!!

Yep, that's one of the reasons I quit using AW. Got tired of seeing my scheduled auctions didn't launch, among other things.
But I must make a comment about the repetitive typing that might help you and others I've seen mention the problem.
I type all my auction descriptions in MS Word. I have all my repetitive text already set up in a template for the type of item I'm selling. Anything that needs to be different, yet somewhat repetitive, like shipping charges, I have set up in AutoText.
Here are my exact steps:
1. Scan picture.
2. Open auction template in Word and type description, adding appropriate AutoText for shipping charges.
3. Save as file in Word.
4. Add a one line description of item in Excel.
Inventory item entered. I keep doing this until I feel like launching auctions.
THEN:
Whenever I feel like launching auctions:
1. Open Word and Excel spreadsheet.
2. Select item from spreadsheet to list, then note the date listed and auction site I'm listing it at.
3. Open the file in Word.
4. Go to the Sell form in eBay (or fill in auction site of choice).
5. Copy and paste descriptive title from Excel spreadsheet, and make any needed changes.
6. Copy and paste the text from the Word file.
7. And that's pretty much it.
The steps I take minimize repetitive typing.
As for the image hosting, try some of the suggestions given by others. I can't really help there because I have no problem with Honesty myself. I use an outside service only when I need more than the 2 free pictures eBay offers. (And the size and detail is fine for books, but maybe not for other items.)
Then, when I package the item for shipment, I go back into Excel and delete the item from the inventory list, and delete the Word and image files also.
Hope this helps you and others with repetitive typing problems.

This might help as well. I found relying on a sngle site to store images wasn't a good idea, so I have a few sites for back-up. Here's a fairly new one with a terrific gallery iage to add to your auctions as well, and it's free. They do have pay services, but their gallery is terrific.
Auctiva.com and the gallery is called "Showcase".

Photopoint.com is a good temporary measure. No time limit, no ceiling on how many pics. When uploaded, just "move" them from "incoming" album to a new album.
I have used them in emergency, and I store Travel pics and my Restoration Album there.

Gosh Shosh!

www.postmypic.com has free image hosting. You don't even have to register. They will mantain the image for 60 days. There's no limit on the amount of images you can save.
