I had a WebTV user win one of my auctions. The EOA bounced due to "Client host rejected: Blocked due to spam"
I used the Mail this Auction to a Friend option from the Auction page, but wonder if anyone else using RR has experienced this.
I just explored the link that was in the email from WebTV, it seems there is a huge list of blocked domains, anything from [email protected] is not going to go through.

My daughter said she hasn't been getting my emails. She has web TV. At least now I know why. But mine are just saying something like could not deliver, will continue to try.

Bill Gates bought WebTV a few years back, and then after a while fired all the WebTV employees.
It is the intention of Microsoft to make WebTV'rs SOOOOOOOOO disgusted with the poor degraded webtv experience, that we all go out and purchase pcs.
What ol' Seattle Bill didn't realize is that not all WebTV users are yokels who never attended elementary school.
MANY of us are awaiting the NEXT Internet Appliance which utilizes Linux. There's one that does, but it uses AOHell, and even ex-WebTV'rs are not about to take up ANY version of AOL.
AND why are we not upgrading to PCs?
Because fully aware of us tech-illiteracy, we know we can't figger out a LINUX OS.
IF you think that ANY of us stubborn WebTV'rs who've firsthand witnessed Bill Gates drive WebTV into the ground, are EVER gonna buy a pc with a Microsoft OS, you are sadly mistaken.
I have not received ANY emails in about 20 hours.
y-a-w-n........ what's new?
some of them will show up over the next few days; most of them will disappear into the Void, unread.
This has been happening for about a year -- when ol' Bill Gates had the Microsoft R&D department issue an """"""""'upgrade'""""""""" to WebTV, which they then had to take back, it was sooooooooooooo B-A-D.

Ya know, if you think that the atmosphere on messageboards for the OAI is *grim*, I'll tell ya that is is NOTHING, compared to the WebTV-only newsgroups, where the atmosphere is absolutely palpably OPPRESSIVE.
The precise second that a set-top box is developed which works better than WebTV, (which I assure should not be difficult, mind you) --- there will be such a EXODUS within a matter of SECONDS, no kiDDing.
I go in to read about the set-top user trials, but it is difficult to read for long, as it is not a group of happy campers, boY-oH-boY!

#1 RoadRunner is a DISASTER today & #2 MANY of the MICROSOFT sites are also screwed-up today! These 2 may be contributing to your problems!

A piece of trivia that may amuse you guys is that WebTV typically rejects emails from msn.com, both being owned by Microsoft.
WebTV nowadays is also programmed by Billie's techies to reject e-groups eLists as SPAM.
There will be an exodus, the SECOND a decent Internet Appliance arrives, PARTICULARLY one which does not rely on anything microsoft, and NOT aoHell, either.
Steve Perlman invented WebTV, and he was kewl, and his invention has purposefully been driven into the ground. The one blip outta R&D in Seattle was the announcement of AOLTV, so they made this thing they called an """"'upgrade'"""""" which RUINED the previous level of service.

If you go to the url that is in the email, the list of domains that is being blocked is absurd.
I sent 6 EOA's today, heard back from 4, and also received an email from the seller in question that she sent before I got the EOA's out. So, I can receive from her, but she isn't getting my mail sent from RR.

My buyer replied to my Hotmail account, so at least she got my second notice. If WebTV blocks any more domains, no will be able to email anyone using WebTV.
