Hi,

I know that ebay brags about how many members that they have.

I was just curious how many active bidders and sellers that they have online.

Anyone have a way to find out.

i dunno, but i'd luv to find out!

It'll be hard to figure out, though, cuz see, if say, ONE single k-Mart store were running several thousand auctions an hour makes the categories look real busy, but I don't see that from such a firm that there would actually be any type of MEMBER of eBay, no matter how much money It earned in FVFs.

According to PC Data Online there's a lot of whole lot of traffic. Over 25 million unique hits were registered on eBay's site in december. How many accounts? Who knows. I have several myself.

Hits are one thing.I'd love to know how many actual buyers and sellers in the past 6 months without duplication.

Hi,

Scroll through eBay Announcements: There is a report that states there are 22,500,000 registered users.

Seems like sales should be better, huh?

Well, of that 22,500,000 users, I have seven or maybe more.

I have several accounts registered as spam traps, and a couple to use for buying when I don't want anyone to know it's me.

taz: my post above was just a "for instance, IF..."

i dunno if K-Marts anywhere ever list on eBay. they came to mind because their website bluelight.com advertises here at AW - and I was wondering how many AW Users click on those ads and go make purchases there.

in order to survive in this economic climate, eBay must co-brand with major corporations; those corporations are depending upon the appeal of the liddle widdle sellers merchandise & quality customer service to deliver millions of hits to their corporate big time auctions.
