I just checked an email box that I only use sparingly. There was an email in it that had in the subject line "Happy Chinese New Year....". Alarms went off in my head, and I deleted it without opening it.

Was it indeed a virus, and do I need to do anything more?

Thanks!

Well, this week we did celebrate Chinese New Year, so the timing is right. Was there an attachment to it?

Hopefully, it was just harmless spam and not that rich buyer in Hong Kong wanting to contact you to buy a bunch of stuff!

Oh, well. Happy Chinese New Year to you and yours.

As long as nothing was opened, you are OK.
