I've been selling tons of craft booklet. They are often cardboard with only 2 pages to them. I've bought many, and all I've ever bought have come in manilla envelopes, so that's how I ship too. (Hey, at 55¢ for shipping, no one complains.)
I say I will combine shipping. So this woman decides that since I will combine shipping that is defined as "all books sent for the same price". Nope. That means that I will put more than one book in the same envelope so that it saves on shipping. She bought 2 books and although the shipping on 2 books doesn't usually hit about $1.65 (depending on if the have many pages in them or not), she wants it shipped for the 55¢.
I explain that to her, and no response on that, but she says she expects them to be wrapped in a trash bag prior to mailing. ARRRGGGGH! I can't fit a trash bag AND her craft books in a manila envelope. (Keep in mind I made a profit of $1.40 TOTAL on the auctions she won.)
So would you all:
just mail like everyone else does in a manilla envelope and risk 2 negs
or
Eat the shipping and mail prioirty so I can send her a trash bag (which she also never offered to pay for!).

The lady is incorrect in her interpretation. You said combine shipping, not ship all for one price.
I would definatley not ship them priority. You would be in the red for the transaction, and there is no reason for that.
Would the books fit in a gallon sized ziplock bag? If not, try putting the books in the trash bag and cutting off the excess and use some packing tape to make sure they are sealed in. This way it should fit in the envelope and you will only be out a few cents instead of $$$.

I wouldn't even use the ziplocks. I have a box of regular baggies (not the ziplocks) that I bought at the dollar store. I slip the booklets into one of these and fold it over and tape it if possible. If it is not long enough to fold and tape I slip another one over the other way, tape the two together, slip it in the envelope and off it goes.
