Recently I had a problem with a seller on ebay who was NARU'd. I am currently in contact with the seller's local police department and the FBI in the seller's state to resolve this matter which not only involved me, but approximately 200 other people...the seller ripped us all off!

Anyway, this person is back and is selling basically the same as before and there are tons of auctions and people are bidding...who do I email at ebay? This person is currently being investigated and they continue to sell crap??? ARGH!!!!!

If the seller is already NARU under a different ID, go to SafeHarbor at:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/select-RS.html

and select Member Violations, for Questionable Member Identity and report them having a new identity.

You can also choose other categories for automated reporting of issues.

There is space at the end to put your concerns before sending it off to them.

Please let us know how it goes, and if you are going to tell us who the person is, please remember to send a notifying email to the seller, inviting them to the thread and referring them to the Community Guidelines, and cc it to [email protected]. You must also give the moderator (but not the seller) your full name, address and phone number.

Good luck!

I recently ran into the same thing. When I reported him to ebay the NARU'd him at once. Who is he...sounds like my boy.

The seller is [email protected], formerly [email protected]. I just looked and her 1999 auctions have been cancelled! I have so much stuff that the FBI asked for! I hope they take care of this jerk!

As far as I know, she's only on ebay! If I get anymore information, I will be sure to let you know!

Long story short, I won 2 auctions she had, paid within my 10 days by wire transfer (per her TOS) and received 1 of the auction winnings...I emailed her, called her and tried everyway but to drive to Illinois and track her down to get in touch with her to no avail. So I emailed the police chief in her town of Hazel Crest Illinois, and he emailed me back with a detective's name to contact because apparently several other complaints were lodged against her! Then a week later I get a call from the FBI (I almost crapped my pants! I didn't expect to hear from them LOL) anyway...the FBI is trying to open a case as well (they have a monetary amount that must be met for them to step in) keep your fingers crossed!

Her former ID on ebay was [email protected]

I bet the FBI saves a lot of time that way:

*RING**RING*

Hello?

"Is this Ms. Doe?"

Yes it is, may I help you?

"Ma'am, this is Fred from the FBI and...."

THUD

"Ma'am.....Ma'am?"

"Cool, long lunch for me today!"

(Sorry, I know that your situation isn't funny, but I'd probably be half way across the boarder before the phone hit the floor if I got a call from the FBI).
