the auction, can you? I mean you *can* but...

I won an auction several days ago and was emailed about it last night. The auction I won said "PayPal, Checks, Money Order" and the PayPal user was verified. It also said shipping was one certain amount. The email I got said "Checks or Money Orders only" and the shipping was almost a dollar more than what was quoted in the auction.

Which am I obligated to pay?

The seller should follow the terms in the TOS. Politely point this out to them, emphasizing you would not have bid if _____, they should then go back to their original TOS. If they don't, that is grounds to leave them a neg. It's called 'bait and switch'.

I would email the seller and ask him why the auction says one thing and his email said another. It could be a mistake.

I already emailed them but I dont want to be deemed a troublemaker and be given a negative. I got a retalitory the other day and I'd like to not add any more if I can avoid it, at least for a few months!
