My sales on ebay outnumber my purchases about 10 to 1 but I feel I have to tell everyone about this positive experience. I bought a wireless LAN card from a first time seller about a month ago. I was having trouble with my laptop so it took until now to be sure I had everything in order to attempt to use this card. I spent over an hour on it then called the support and they determined that the card was defective. I emailed the seller and she admitted that it never actually worked for her. She had owned it for about 1 year and always just figured it was her mistake that it didn't work and never wanted to go to the hassel of sending it back to the online place she bought it. However fishy this sounds she refunded the money I paid her 100% on paypal. I will be returning the card to her although she told me to keep it or trash it. The unfortunate thing about this being her first sale gone bad (she had another userid as a buyer with feedback of 77) she just had a bad deal with another seller (sellers feedback '0'). Seems she sent a guy a check for $500 for a pentium 4 chip and has not received the item. It has been 3 weeks and she figures her money is gone. Now she says she is done with ebay. Too bad to lose an honest person.

Well I think the girl just thought she was computer illiterate. these wireless cards (symphony) are very finicky and require a lot of settings to work correctly. i have learned about TCP/IP, WINS, DNS and a lot of othyer stuff I really don't care to know about. She just thought she was doing something wrong. Even though the card cost $150 she wasn't too concerned. My Mother knows some people that buy new shoes every month. They have a closet full of shoes worn only once or so. These are name brand mall purchased items and the cost is not a big deal. Some people are jsut like that. Buy it and if it doesen't seem to work right just set it aside.
