Recently I received a PayPal payment from someone with NO auction number included in the payment. My normal practice is to search my records for the Email address to see which item it was. But I found nothing. So I did a bidder search on Ebay and found that the email address used for the PayPal payment had been NARU'd on Ebay and had -3 rating.

Upon futher investigation I figured out which item the payment was for. The winning user is new, account was opened the same day the other account was NARU'd. Also the new Email is xxxx@hotmail where xxxx is the same as the NARU'd User ID.

Should I tell safe harbour?

Is there a way to do that anomously?

Why should you?

Isn't someone who screwed up the first time, entitled to a second chance to do things right?

Accept payment, send the item out and get on with your life...
