All this Nickel and Diming(E-bay,Paypal, Post Office, Auction Watch?), plus high energy cost is killing the Goose that laid the Golden Egg. I'm not a small seller either and were feeling the pinch!!!With the economy not doing so hot, adding more fees is not so good an idea. Most of us will go elsewhere for free image hosting.

There are many bare bones hosting companies with under $10 fees for 25-100 megs of space.
Its almost in your best intrests to go ahead and get a domain name and a hosting account and just use that. Instead of having images here, there and everywhere then being forced to post the image through all these 3rd party services.
Get a domain and a hosting account
Then you can type the url of an image in html easily on any add on any website.

You also wont be scrambling to move images or remember which pic is hosted where.

We all really are getting nickled and dimed to death or our little on line sales are ant how.
It truely is time for a auction site to step out and come up with a fixed monthly fees for listing that offer image hosting and auction manageing and a credit card payment service for all one fixed rate.
This Nickle and dime stuff is getting old there are well over 15,000 registered on line sellers out there there is plent for any company to make billions off of at $19.95 to $25 a month like internet providers and web hosting companys do look what this has done just for AOL alone.
I think if all sellers just get togeather and get far picker as to who they did business with the nickle or dime potshots companies are takeing at us will ease and stop faster then it started.
me myself I dont mind paying a fee for a service but I stopped accepting even just any offer of services just because it claims to be free if it dont work or make me nothing it isnt worth it even if it is free its just a waist of my time online which up untill not long ago use to be very valuble time.
Me I find I sell just as well weather I use a auction manager service to list and launch auction useing there templets or if I use my own HTML editor and launch the auction my self useing templet I make my self or that are offered in various place on the web offered free for use .
Me I find I sell Just as well Offering one payment service and accepting checks and money orders then I was offering two or three services I still have a paypal account verifide with a $100 monthly limit and if I went up to that limit I would ask buyer to use billpoint which if just as free and easy if not easyer or send a check or money order.
Me I find I sell Just as well with out all the fancy High cost features gallery opthion and other stuff auction sites think they can charge for.
I find that if the USPS Makes it nessary I have a UPS and fedex drop point within a few mins of my house I will just use the lower cost service and if USPS incresses more they can live with incressed falling deliveries.
For $14 I registered my own Domain for $19.95 I have my own host for a little time I have my own web portal my own banners links and picture hosting for my auction and my own gallery and if Ebay wants to get tough enough about what you can and cant link through your auctions on there site there are ways around these limitations as well.
Conveince is nice but not nessary if its profitless
