If any of you have used a way to ship very large objects and found them to be RELIABLE, and have not charged a hoof and a horn, I would appreciate a recommendation. We have HUGE Moose antlers (50 x 40 x 24 inches and 40 lbs) and we have been rejected by USPS, UPS or FedEx. We live in Fresno, California, and don't have access to some of the major shippers. I have received some good suggestions and appreciate them all very much, and am pursuing them with great mooseness.

I sent something HUGE (280 pound stairmaster) through a freight liner company. They came to the house, packaged it up and took it away on a pallet. It was going cross country (Portland OR to New York) and the total cost was $300.00 I just looked under freight companies in the yellow pages.

I live 40 miles south of you in Visalia. What I want to know is where in the heck did you find a moose around here???

Hi everyone! Hope your day has been the best one since yesterday! We have had fog-rain-sunshine-fog in that order!
Thanks a squillion to everyone who helped me find a shipper for my HUGE Moose antlers! (I had to give a quote to a
possible bidder).
For any of you who get rejected by the standard mail services because of an oversize package, I have
found that Greyhound Express is by FAR the most economical - $40.00 from coast to coast and insured for up to $500!
We enjoyed all the wacky comments, and to those of you showed concerns for the animal, these came from an Estate sale - we did not commit this dasterdly deed.
