WOWEE WHAT RESPONSE!!!
Thanks a squillion to everyone who helped me find a shipper for our HUGE Moose antlers! (I had to give a quote to a possible bidder).

I received all sorts of shippers and "other" ways to send these when the auction has ended.

the one I chose of course, was to "lash them to the front of my 1/2 ton and drive them to Virginia".

KIIIIDDDDDDING!

For any of you who get rejected by the standard mail services because of an oversize package, I have, however, found that Greyhound Express is by FAR the most economical - $40.00 from coast to coast and
insured for up to $500!

We enjoyed all the wacky comments, and to those of you showed concerns for the animal, these came from an Estate sale - we did not commit this dasterdly deed.

But you intend to profit from it!

Ok, I guess that's enough from me about animal abuse...

With all the critters running around my place (and I love each and every one) I guess my soul is wide awake.

SHARKBABY:
Yes, that is true. I must admit. and I do appreciate your feelings.
I feel sort of removed from the "act", especially when it happened years ago, and by someone I don't even know.

And of course, there are the usual questions about leather shoes and eating eggs and what the Bible says ...etc. etc., that you see and hear about all the time in the media.

I guess it all breaks down to what ANYONE might do to survive in the long run...and you are right...better not to go there...on this board anyway!!

I just try to be loving to my furry pals and take care of them the best I can.

DECEMBER3 - that's a neat thought! I can relate! Once on the farm I had 6 dogs and 17 cats!

PJ:

Ok, I understand what you're saying! I guess most of us can be sort of hypocritical about some of the aspects of taking care of the little (& big!) animal babies that we're put on this earth to protect!

And as for EGGS....YUKKKKK! haha...I never could understand the charm of eating something that came out of a chicken's butt!

Take care and I hope the greyhound people are gentle with your parcel!
