eBay announces new Power programs
ebay, the world’s largest on-line auction company, announced a new Power program today.
The program is called “Power Deadbeats.” Buyers with a solid history of non-payments, late checks, obnoxious email, and a dangerously low feedback rating may be invited to become a Power Deadbeat by ebay.
Whenever a Power Deadbeat is the high bidder on an auction, an attractive “Power Deadbeat” logo will appear next to their high bidder status. Bids made by Power Deadbeats can not be cancelled by the seller. However, Power Deadbeats will be able to cancel their own bids without penalty even after the auction closes.
There are several more “Power” programs in the works. They include “Power Bidders” who can bid after the auction closes, “Power International Buyers” who can always buy and have items shipped to them for US rates, and “Power Payers” who can use personal checks and PayPal whenever they want.
ebay has already started inviting buyers into the program which begins April 1.

Quite right itcomputes! Very exciting new features coming!
The Powerwatcher program will be rolling out soon. This special program will allow anyone to look (over and over)at, and keep track of, as many as 5000 items and never have to worry about bidding! What convenience!
