When I'm listing an ebay auction on AW, at the bottom of the page, just above the "launch" buttons, there are four--Quick Preview, Ebay Preview, Save, and Return.
What is the "Save" for? I've been trying to figure out a way to pull up my pictures and write my whole auction more than a week ahead of time, as I have the opportunity, and I'm wondering if that's what "Save" is for.
I know there are programs, and cutting and pasting, that I could learn, but I guess I'm looking for a short cut! Adele

Then it sounds like "save" is just what you need! When you put one in save it goes onto the "pending auctions" part between active and ended. You can put it in save even if you aren't finished with it or whatever. It will just sit there til you want to schedule it or launch it.

I don't know what that button is for, but I do know that you can download Auction Watche's software. You can work on your auctions when ever you want, put them on hold, save them. You don't have to be on-line while you create them. When your ready, you connect and up-load them.
It's a really simple program and it's FREE
When your at the end of your rope:
Tie a knot and hang on!

Nope! Have never lost anything. It just waits for you to launch it. Sometimes I start one and find I'm just not in the mood to describe something so I just put it in save & come back to it. Or, I decide I need another pic so I put it in save & shoot another one, etc...

Thanks, sharkbaby! As usual, AWers come through! Last night I experimented. Wrote in the title and the price for an item and hit "Save," and sure enough, there it was under pending!
I'm not a power seller, just unloading a lot of family stuff no one wants, so I'm not going to download the software. But this would have saved me a lot of grief last month. We went to Mexico for 2 weeks, and I didn't want to start any auctions I couldn't be home for; I *could have* written up a lot, ahead of time.
I'm going to ask the moderators why they don't have a little tutorial on the listing pages. It would save a lot of Q & A -- like what is this button for, and a caution to put in the time of launch before you hit the launch button, etc. etc. Why there isn't one is beyond my comprehension (speaking as a past customer service maven).
