On the lighter side, here's some feedback I've been sorely tempted to leave lately. I didn't, because the users haven't actually done anything "wrong" [according to eBay rules], but still...
"Bozo held my check for 10 days even though I have 399 feedback with no negatives"
"All I got were form e-mails! Is this guy a robot or something?"
"High bidder never let me know if the item arrived safely! I'm afraid to discard the insurance slip...."
"High bidder sent payment with no UserID or Item#. Spent hours trying to figure out what he bid on!"
There, I feel much better now. Just had to get that out of my system....

I'm talking about the folks who don't leave feedback, don't send an e-mail, don't respond to e-mail, nada. Then you're always waiting for that "the item finally arrived 2 months late and it's broken" e-mail....

Just curious, which Bozo would that be?
The seller that clearly stated:
MONEY ORDERS ONLY
or the seller that clearly stated:
Personal checks have a ten business day hold.
or the seller that stated:
Shipping is fastest by Paypal with same day service. Best direct payment option is by Postal Money Order. Personal checks are OK but take a few days longer.
or the one that didn't mention whether they did, or didn't hold personal checks?
I don't hold personal checks, but I don't have a problem with sellers that do. It's their merchandise, their auction, and their business, and no one forces any buyer to send a personal check.
I held an MO once for 7 days, because the high bidder didn't send payment in the form I had requested in my auction.

Can Buyers play too???
"Great deal! Would have bid more if it werent for your ridiculous s&h charges....but heh...I got it $10 cheaper and you "made" $5 to pack it!"
"Thanks, but I hate to tell you I paid $15 less than I would have had I not had to go to the bank and pay $5 for a money order"
"wonderful deal!! You should have listed the SIZE in your ad....it would have brought $25 more!!!"
"Thank you Thank you! The fUzZy PiCtuRe you used saved me at least $20!!"
AND MY CURRENT FAV:
"Received my widget today and posted GLOWING feedback for you.....even though you will probably never post any for me.....BUT I refuse to be the weak link in the FB system!"
Same Kawfee-n-Junque as on eBay...I aint afraid of who I am!

Got your check, it has one address on it, your address label has another address. Nothing else but check in envelope. Fortunately I only had one item for this price. Still waiting for a respose to my third e-mail about where you want this shipped. Too long for feedback but this has happened to me twice this week already.

1. "Arrrgh!" Translation: Buyer snipe-bid on fifteen movies I had for sale and finally answered fourth email with pleading letter that her disabiliy check had been delayed and could I hold them for a while. Transaction was completed with no injuries but considerable aerobic activity on the part of the seller.
2. "Aiiieeeeee!" Translation: Buyer was sent a reminder email a month after the end of the auction: Did he still want the movie? Buyer responds two weeks later that he does and a check will be sent. A month after that, no check received and buyer sends irate letter wanting to know where his movie is. Upon telling him that I haven't received his payment, he sends me a note telling me he is holding the cancelled check in his hand. I asked him to send me a copy of the front and back of the check so I can turn it in to local law enforcement since someone has committed fraud and I want to see justice done. He declines, saying he's mislaid the check and offers to send another one for considerably less than the original selling price. I pass.
3. "Glurg!" Translation- Buyer asks for home address to send payment for tarot reading. Against my better judgment, I send it to him. Over a month passes and no payment comes. I request payment again and he tells me he sent it but will send it again. Two weeks later he emails that payment will be sent. I tell him not to go to the trouble and expense of getting a money order, that I will send him a billpoint invoice so he can pay by e-check and do so. A few days later he emails back that he will mail me the payment in cash. I get the payment and ask him when he would like the reading. He answers that he uses a library computer and could he send me the question and have me simply do the reading and send it to him via email...that way I could t ake my time and he could print it out at his liesure. In lieu of the 30 minute, 5 dollar, for-entertainment tarot reading, he expects the following by email:
1. A reading on his relationship with an extraterrestrial race.
2. Answers to over 20 questions relating to his career.
3. Readings on both of his children.
4. A dream interpretation.
5. A past-life regression.
6. A reading on his possible future relationship with a specific celebrity.
I'm floored. I finally demurred on the grounds that it wasn't a reasonable request and asked for an address where I could send his money back to him. I purchased a USPS money order and sent it back. The total cost of the auction with all of the follow-up horsepuckey ended up costing more than the 5 dollars I sent back.
