I have not posted any auctions since ebay has upped their fees. However, I've heard on one board that when you relist and an items sells the second time they don't refund your listing fee. What I found on ebay doesn't support this statement, to me it reads as if they do. Has anyone done this yet? Which is correct?

Relisting vs 10 day auction can be a pricey option. I prefer BIN but miss the 10 day auction. I may opt for the 10 day auction in the future and rotate stock differently based on the week of the month. Better expendible monies in the 3rd week of the month with rent paid etc. I think buyers have a tendency to spend differently after they paid some bills from the first two weeks of the month off.

I just got done relisting a couple of items.
I was careful to do my relists on the EBAY site so I could see the little "This is gonna cost you" comments that come up.
All the items I relisted were from Dec/Jan before they upped it a nickel.
The comments did state that my relist was .30 which would be refunded if the item sold.
So sayeth EBAY.

What will not be refunded is the 10 cent 10-day auction surcharge. That is not refundable - so if you listed something for $1.00 for 10 days on a relist and paid $.40, you'd get a $.30 credit if it sold the 2nd time around.
