In the last few days I have seen a considerable increase in people using the
BIN feature.Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me.
Its great as I am getting more for my items than I do normally.

Yup, and it makes me do the happy dance, except that I'm sure that Ebay is taking notes and will start charging for it soon.

As a buyer, I like BIN because there is always the chance you can come across a true treasure and snap it up at a great price.
As a seller, I like it but only use it on things I know the value of... like books and such. I have put things up in the past that have sold for more than I would have guessed and I am afraid to use BIN on some items. For instance, I bought a model car kit at an estate sale for $1.00, started my bids at $9.99 and ended up selling the thing for $300.00. If BIN had been around then, I would probably have put a BIN price of $15.00 and been thrilled with my profit.
The same with some other vintage widgets that I run across. You never know (unless you happen to be an expert on the widget) what someone will pay for it!
I do like the instant $$$ though and use it when I can be sure of what my widget is really worth!

You may like BIN when you get your $$ sooner, but will you still like it when another seller kicks out 20 items just like yours with a BIN about 20% less than you usually get for it?

I have been getting a lot of quick turnover with BIN but I also find it even more irritating when a buyer ends my auction and then deadbeats with BIN.
