I am trying desperatley to revise an auction before it gets a bid on it because of a grammatical error. I can't get the revise auction link from eBay to work. Is there a way to do it through AW? Thanks!!

Susan: You have my sympathy! I have been there--sweaty armpits, desperation, etc.

Can you click on "revise auction"?

If so, then you'll be on a page, after you sign in, that seems confusing. Stay there until it loads, then go on with the revision page.

However. . . ummm. . . if you can't get past the "revise auction" link, I can't help you. It may be that ebay is acting up again, and perhaps if you wait a bit things will settle down.

Do bear in mind that this time of night doesn't usually produce lots of bids, and the odds are that you'll be able to solve your problem before there are any.

And. . . a simple grammatical error isn't the end of the world, even for us fanatics, unless it affects the truth of your auction description.

The other option (and I had to do this once) is to end your auction and relist it. To end it, go to the site map. And I forget whether that's ebay or AW site map. Wiser heads can probably help you further! Gooooood luck.

Also, when I'm desperate I first go to the Message Center, AuctionWatch.com Services, then AuctionManager and post a quick SOS to the moderator. Usually I get help faster that way. Sometimes, though, if they're busy, the ebay outlook is faster. Depends!

Thanks for your help! This grammatical error makes the product sound wrong.

6 new blackened traps makes them sound like they were newly blackened which isn't the case. I need it to say 6 new, blackened...see what I mean? It might not be a big deal but the traps weren't newly blackened they are just new and had been blackened about 4 years ago.

Thanks!!
