For the longest time, close to two years, I always stuck to this rule: Auctions do best when ending Sunday evening. At least that's how it was for me... In many different categories.
The past few months, however, I have noticed my items doing better when they end on a weekday (Wednesday in particular), and Sunday seems to be very slow with last-day bids.
Am I hallucinating? Or has anyone else noticed this?

Being on the East Coast, listing and relisting auctions late at night has always been an unpleasant task. I get up a 6:00 am to start my day, and the last thing I need to do is stay up until midnight.
A few months ago, I finally decided to do all my listing during the day while I was in the office and accept the fact that I would end up taking a few lumps.
With the BIN, I found it doesn't matter much when you end the auction because half of them are going to end when someone finds it. I also found that with the long indexing delays, I was better off listing in the afternoon rather than at night because they were always online when PrimeTime hit.

I live in the eastern part of the US and Sunday's still work best for me, if I close them late enough for the West Coast to have a look during the last five hours of listing. (That is true for my equestrian equipment.) However, I've been cleaning out my library and have discovered that books seem to close throughout the week with BIN.
