Did a search for an obscure actor and one item came up that had his name in the title. Example: "Fun Movie - Joe Schmo NR". When I did a search for title AND description, there was a total of 9 items however, the item with his name right in the title did NOT appear in the listings. ??
I have mentioned before other problems I noticed (and others have mentioned as well) such as doing a title and description search and it saying the item has no bids but when you click on it, the item has many. An example being a book I was interested in was listed and showed under title & description, it was saying no bids even though myself and several others bid on it. That was 6 days ago and it is STILL showing no bids in search. And finally, something I mentioned in another thread an item of mine that ended on the 11th, have not heard from bidder so planned on re-listing the item. While doing a search to see if a similiar item was listed, not only did the authors last name not come up in listings (with his first name, it did), but in the completed auctions, mine isn't even showing. It says there are NO completed auctions on this book or author!

Hi, becca - I share your frustration. Many times I find the Search feature just about worthless.
For completed search, try this. Say you have searched for current items, found those, and then click on that page for completed auctions. Often it will say there are none, when you know perfectly well there are some. Go to the "Smart Search" page, and START your search from the Completed Items tab on that page. You may find the completed auctions that way, when they don't show up the first way.
