Last week I received a Bid Pay money order for the cost of the item no freight included. I asked him 3 times to send me his address so I could give me the freight cost.

I send him another email telling him he needs to send the freight. No response. I wrote to Ebay and asked them what to do and they said look up his contact information and call. He lives in Italy. I do not speak Italian.

I refuse to eat the freight cost on this item. It is $50. Should I just mail his money order back?

Thank for listening.

What if you just email him and say that it seems that he inadvertently (?) left off the cost for shipping and to please remit the additional amount due so that you can send out his package...

I sent him a friendly email letting him know that he left off the freight. I gave him the freight amount. Since he is bidding on Ebay, I am assuming he can read English. He is new to Ebay and has a positive record. I don't know what else I can do.

Good luck, Jeanine! Maybe he just didn't fully understand. He will probably remember that for next time because it will cost him another $5 to send the additional BidPay pmt!

Is it possible to send the item freight collect? Just a thought!

Give him 3 days since your email notice that he left off freight & send another email stating that you are unable to ship until you receive the balance due. Give him a deadline & tell him that if it is not received by then you will send his MO back & relist the item.

(I don't know if freight collect is even an option, but make sure that you would not be held responsible for the return shipping charges if he refuses the item upon delivery.)

Don't you have opportunity to respond to the first BidPay email if something isn't correct?
