Just curious here who links to a website from their auctions and what wording you use to do so?
I have just received a procedural warning for basically saying:
"If this widget isn't the right color, why not try browsing our other auctions or visiting our website?" Supposedly, according to safeharbor, it is NOT okay to say "or visiting our website", but later in the email , they say it IS okay to say "Please visit our website." So what's the difference?
Am I missing something?
By the way, my items on my website are not items prohibited on ebay, my auctions are all at lower starting bids than website, and of course my website isn't an auction-based site. These are the "no-nos" according to http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-list.html

If you say "or visiting our website", eBay construes that as luring bidders off of eBay to make a purchase that they will not receive any fees for. (I'm not saying that I agree with their stance, though.)
I link to my website with a text-only link that says: "Please visit my XXXXX website." (website name obscured)
I also make sure that my website's homepage explains my product line rather than promotes outside sales/orders. (Of course if you continue to explore the site you can order or make direct purchases.)
Tis better to play by their rules than to have your auctions ended...
