Hi
Is anyone else having problems accessing PayPal? I am using Netscape and keep getting the message "no dns entry" and "check URL"...I even get this message when I use the "link".
This has been going on since last evening.

I just went in to check my balance and got in okay. Try to empty your "cache" and see if that helps.

It's been "down" for a long time ... you just didn't notice

Even when it's up, it's down!

olgacollie,

I was having exactly the same problem, and am SOOOO glad that you asked. Clearing my cache worked for me too!

Thank you!

I know this sounds dumb, but how do I do this in IE 5?

It is not a dumb question. I don't know IE, but this is how I figured out how to empty my cache.

I did a search (File Find?) for cache. This will pull up a variety of folders (it did on my PC), which should include an IE cache. I had a cache folder within the Netscape directory.

Open that up, and see the zillions of files collected there by your browser. The fat.db file at the dop you won't be able to delete, but there will be loads of others there that you don't need.

The only thing I can think of to be wary about is if you have IE remember your log-ins and passwords. Emptying your cache MAY delete those too, I am not certain.

There may also be something in the IE set up which will automatically clear your cache files after a period of time.

I am sorry I am not able to give you a clearer answer, and hope that this helps!
