ok eGIRL
Some seller got a rubber check and listed it on an auction site which will remain nameless
because AW deletes my posts when I name them.
This nameless chicken sh55t site deleted his auction.
I myself think it is a great idea.
We should auction off our dead beat lists as well.

I guess I fail to see how it makes any sense to auction off someone's bounced check. I'm sure it's also got to be illegal, since it would have that person's personal information on there (name, address, bank account #'s).
If this is a true story I'm glad the auction site deleted the auction. Sounds stupid to me.

I'm not joking about anything.
Your posts are also not easy to decipher! Your original post says nothing but "that'senough" all in one word and we're supposed to know what you're talking about??
Back to the issue - I see no reason to auction off someone's bounced check. I've received 30+ bounced checks from customers and I'd have to be out of my mind to even think about auctioning them off. It's ridiculous!
My question to you: Are YOU joking??????

I saw it and he covered up the guys personal info by writing his user ID in big letters on top of it. All you could see was his name.LOL

What was his point? What good could come from selling someone's bounced check? The check - good or bad - is still the property of the person who wrote the check to begin with.

He probably got one too many bad checks and lost it. I've been in businesses where they posted them on the wall, information and all.

...Until they stop payment on it, or bounce it... it may still be in your hands but it's worthless to you.
And again, I'll ask - what good could come from selling someone's bounced check?

Is this serious? Auction a bad check?
The thing people will do to make money...

I saw a few weeks back where someone who worked at a DMV got John Schneider's old Drivers License and selling it on eBay while he was working on the Dukes of Hazzard. Think that would be a little illegal too but I dunno...
Also a few years back, I was working at Bass Pro Shops and Tracy Byrd came in while he was in town for a Concert and Used his credit card and left his receipt on the counter! Ohhhh those 16 numbers......That would've been a real Collectors item!
