Is there any way to tell if a person was unregistered at any time?
I have a bidder who won 2 auctions of mine- one in December and one in the beginning of January.
She promised payment by every method under the sun - including ones I don't even accept - and I never received any payment from her at all.
I finally filed for my NPB and FVF on her. I leave NEGS for all of my deadbeat bidders but when I went to her feedback she had 2 negs but neither of them were from me. The only reasoning I can come up with is she must have been NARU'D when I went to NEG her so that's why I couldn't.
Now she is registered and out of nowhere sent me 2 emails saying "send me a billpoint invoice and I'll pay for this". If she only looked in her history she would see they were already sent to her - over a month ago!!
UGH!
So my question is this: Is there any way to tell if my bidder was previously NARU'D?

You could write and ask Safeharbor mentioning that you had two transactions that went south with this deadbeat--it's unlikely that info would be given out otherwise. Or ask one of the other stiffed sellers if they know.
I''d say the probability of a short suspension is quite high. I've seen this more than once.
