What is the best way to collect funds? and the most secure -- I've heard lots of stories about rip-off artists buying out of the country.

thanks for your suggestions,

BidPay will send you a Western Union Money Order. You can suggest payment that way. It costs the buyer $5.00 for the MO but it's free of charge to the seller.

Never had a problem with Germans. They usually send me US cash.

Cash ok but make sure they understand it is entirely at their risk.

Bidpay is best. Just this morning I received Bidpay payment notices from bidders in Germany, Australia, and Italy, just 1 day after the auctions ended!

Absolutely go with BidPay. It's fast and it's secure. I've waited forever for int'l money orders, then had service charges from my bank for processing money orders (in US funds) drawn on foreign banks.

I've had envelopes full of cash come from Asia and been amazed that anyone was stupid enough to send them and that the USPS actually delivered them with no problems.

On my auctions, I always offer international shipping, but now specify that I only accept BidPay from international bidders.
