I used to collect a lot of sports cards (mainly baseball) and then 10 years or so back, the entire hobby just became too confusing - with graded cards, so many different sets, etc.
Anyway, my question is does anyone know the easiest (and cheapest) way to get sports cards professionally graded?

Most of the cards I would like to get graded are worth maybe $25 - if they're graded. If they're not graded, probably more like $5. I've seen a lot of cards that aren't worth much, but are graded. How are these people getting there cards graded if grading is expensive? It would seem like the cost of getting them graded outweighs the value of the card.

When I was a few years younger, I collected sports cards as well. I have several thousand cards from '90 to '94. What is the best way to find out the value. Would it be worth selling on ebay, or should I just keep them in my closet for another 20 years or so.
