Just sent EOA email to my winning bidders on a dutch auction. Pulled up their addresses after entering my ID and password, and those who have their email address as their username will not bring up a blank email like the others, I had to ID and password into each individual user that uses email address as user ID.
It appears eBay has plugged the user ID email themselves.

I seem to recall that prior to ebay changing the email policy, they suggested that ebay account holders who are using their email address as their ebay username change it because their system will NOT shield their emails.

I hate spam and a lot of people have spammed me over the years. However, I also hate credit card offers that come in the mail. Though I understand that Spam is resourse intensive and want eBay to guard against spam, I don't like the way they are doing it. Its so "big brother" to me. I emailed a bidder today with the new system and it was iritating! Plus, they recieve the message all bunched up and my original format did not aply.
I wonder how long it will be until eBay has a word limite on the emails you can send and a keyword checker so you can't say certain things?
