I have a homepage. I don't list prices or anything on it, but I link to it in my auctions. I have had many orders just from people emailing me and asking about my items.

I just put my website on the web a few weeks ago. My main reason was that I had people wanting me to send pictures of my handbags by email and snail mail. It required a lot of pictures to show them everything( approximately 100). This started to be too time consuming and costly. I used to sell in craft malls and was still getting orders by word of mouth. I'm also getting orders from people who just happened across my web site and I haven't even registered with any search engines yet. So, for me, yes, a website is definitely worth it to me. I use Bigstep and it's free.
