I was checking out ebay vs Yahoo stats on dtmagazine this morning. On the left side bar, I noticed some interviews by someone that is boycotting ebay. This person even has a site that is dedicated to this and lists many of the alternative auction sites. Does anyone know anything about this? I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this. I am just very curious! Who IS this person! Hopefully you can see the link below.

Thanks ahead of time for sharing the info. Again, I am sorry for the post if this is not allowed.

With the quick suicide of Yahoo, and all the Yahoo sellers actually jumping ship – these sellers have to have some where to go, and many have returned to eBay - the Yahoo sellers actually accomplished a boycott,
Yahoo listings have dropped 85% since January 10th! THIS Yahoo Boycott, eBay users, is an example of what a REAL boycott does, and it didn't take a specialty site dedicated to organizing it, to accomplish. What it took was enough users getting mad as heck, and telling Yahoo that they "weren't going to take it," AND THEN BACKING THEIR TALK UP WITH REAL ACTION BY LEAVING - I have never seen a real boycott on eBay and don't believe any will be successful.
I am not saying that I don't think some of eBay's actions don't justify a major boycott, and that "IF" there were ever a major boycott, that it wouldn't truly get the attention of eBay, and I believe we would see changes in eBay – BUT, after many years on line, I have heard the screams and hollers of eBay users, the threats of boycotts, and none ever come to fruition.
Talk is cheap - action is all that counts!
