I think AW is trying to see how many are gonna jump ship and it is easier for them to keep track of the numbers if they herd everyone into the same corral! They want to see how big and how long the yelling is going to go on, and guage if they should pull in their horns. Then let the 1% go by the boards to let us think we won, by just charging us a nickle an auction. MHO

Have you checked all of the threads that you have posted in. They usually at least give you a formal warning, unless that has changed.

I think it might have something to do with her starting a thread reporting that her auction isn't launching and relating to the new pricing policy. Although apparently she wasn't a active user of AW and didn't have any auctions waiting to be launched.

Thanks musashi ~ I just checked out that thread. Isn't it possible she used one ID for launching auctions and another separate ID for posting on the message boards?

That I honestly dont know. I have seen AW competitors come on the msg board before and bash AW in the past. I guess with all the tension around here lately about the new pricing policy, everyone is abit sensitive.
Although if she did have another account she uses to launch auctions, she probably should have use that one to post the message so the AW staff can help her address the issue. And she wouldn't have the need to create another account to just come back on and post.

Executive Girl> That is EXACTLY what happened. An I am going to probably get this one access denied as well. Some time ago, I posted under my Ebay handle, and asked the Moderator at the time. Pattaylor to change my posting name in here to furkidmom as people here advised it is a good idea to have a different posting name from your ebay name. So I did. When I asked the question of the Moderator Diana she curtly told me to go to another forum to ask the question and of course she could not find furkidmom with a lauching account. I only post in here under that name. So I went to the Mod forum, thinking she would go there to answer my question and access was denied to furkidmom so I had to re-register under another name, thinking my computer was having a brain fart and my post was deleted and that name lulutoo was denied access as well!! This boggled my mind so I again re-registered to find out why this again happened and got totally suspended! I have a letter out to [email protected] and no answer yet. I did not do anything wrong and the suspensionof furkidmom, my name here for posting, was totally unjustified. I did not do anything wrong here!

That is really unfortunate what happen to you. I think perhaps it's a misunderstanding with all the negativity around here lately. Since it's the weekend, perhaps AW can fix your account by Monday.

Furkidmom: I can totally understand why you changed your posting ID to be different from your Ebay ID. (Smart move!!) I do not understand at all why your posting priveleges were suspended just because the moderators didn't think you launched auctions with your posting ID.
Moderator: We all make mistakes, and it looks like this was a simple misunderstanding. Furkidmom was not a "troll" poster, she has made several helpful posts on this board and obviously launches auctions with a different ID. After reading what happened, can you unlock Furkidmom's posting priveleges?

Moderations are not discussed outside of the moderator's corner. Nor are other users allowed to negate a suspension on another person's behalf.
