It's a cliche in construction that you can have any TWO of the following: Good, fast, cheap ... but to get good done fast it ain't gonna be cheap.
It's apparent that a variant of this is true online ... Good, Easy, and Cheap(Free) seldom come in the same package.
Want CHEAP? It will not be easy, but you can learn MrLister or find a free uploading program, find inexpensive web space, learn to make HTML templates for your auctions, FTP the images to your space, etc. (It's not difficult, but some technophobes might find it imtimidating). In this case, the "Good" depends on you.
Want EASY ... prepare to PAY because others will be doing the work. Will it be good? EASY seldom seems to go with Good, even for a high price. Most of the for-fee places tend to have crappy service.
Well I don't know what category I fall into but....3 years ago when I started on eBay completely computer illiterate, to my knowledge there wasn't much out there for hosting pictures.
I learned Cute_FTP, for the free web space that came with my IPS. Granted it wasn't easy for someone like me to learn but I was persistant.
When I posted auctions I cut and pasted from notepad. And after awhile on eBay I learned HTML from eBays help pages.
Now I use MisterLister...I'm very happy with the way things go for me, I DO NOT like change. So once I'm comfortable doing something I stick with it.
I'm by no means a big seller, because if I were my little 10MB of web space would not be enough and I suppose I would have to seek other means for my pictures.
