I suspect a high percentage o AuctionWatch
users are there because of the high-quality
& ease of their image hosting. Without that,
many of us will rethink our options.
When a business (any business) messes
around with their core user, they usually
have trouble down the road.
Perhaps management should get a clear
idea from an online survey exactly how
people use the service and offer us a
menu of options that are both realistic,
competitive and fair! AuctionWatch can not
stay free forever. But going from $0 to
$200 overnight at a time when the economy
is slowing seems like a bad business
decision for all concerned.
(I'd rather put the $200 toward a great
digital camera and use ebay's photo hosting
system.)
I agree with the poster who suggested an
"images only" payment option. I post
directly on ebay and upload images later
and would expect to be able to continute
doing that.

Don't worry. I won't bother! Others will find it on their own. Why not just lock this thread since it's obviously unproductive and going nowhere?

That's a great point, canvid13! I already bought a domain name from Godaddy (via an advertisement from AW, I might add) last month. Utilizing the webspace, which could be used for far more than just webhosting--at less than $10 a month--is a great idea.
